Dr Rob Henderson
DCH, MRCP, Msc, MBBS, FRACGP
Rob has recently arrived from the UK to live in Busselton with his young family. He has been practicing as a GP for over 15 years and really enjoys listening to people and using his knowledge and expertise to talk through the issues and agree the best way forward. His particular interests are elderly and complex medical care, men’s health, mental health, skin and end of life care.
Rob qualified from University College London in 2003. He has worked in a broad range of hospital posts both in the UK and Perth from the Emergency Department to Palliative care. He completed his GP training in the UK in 2009 before a stint in Kwinana for 18 months. Back in the UK he qualified as a GP trainer and studied for a Masters in Health Policy from the London School of Economics.
Most recently he was the senior doctor in a large, multidisciplinary, 17 doctor practice, trained GPs, and was the Director of a collaboration of four local practices.
Rob loves travelling and came to Australia via a 4 month adventure with the family in Europe and Southeast Asia. Other than hanging out with the kids Rob enjoys running and swimming.
